Walk with visit

Exit the campsite and turn right into via Corsica at the crossroads take a left into Via Poeti continue left into Via Mari Via di Montececeri and Via Verdi here opens the beautiful view of Florence and at sunset an unforgettable spectacle of the city and the River Arno. This leads to Piazza Mino da Fiesole.

Visit Fiesole itinerary

In Piazza di Fiesole, turn into via Duprè on the left is the Bandini Museum and on the right

the entrance to the Roman Theater of Fiesole with the archaeological area.

Continue left on via Duprè after the car park take via del Cimitero

the road begins to climb into the woods and you reach the Convent of San Francesco

(Franciscan monastery dating back to 1399) open to visitors.

From here you return to Fiesole with a breathtaking view of the entire city of Florence

When you reach Piazza Mino on the left is the Cathedral of San Romolo which is worth a visit inside where you can admire the two frescoes, San Benedetto (around 1420) and San Sebastiano from the school of Pietro Perugino (early sixteenth century)
