Castel di Poggio and Vincigliata
From the campsite, turn right at the stop sign.
At the crossroads of Baccano, take Via Giovanni Leader, a beautiful road among cypress woods,
overlooking Florence.
Il Poggio is an ancient construction of medieval origins then rebuilt in the 19th century.
Keeping to the right, go down to the valley through a pine forest
and you will find yourself at the small church of San Lorenzo, built in 1301 and restored in 1500.
Continue to the Castello di Vincigliata from 1031 reduced to ruins and rebuilt in 1860.
in Settignano to visit the Villa Gamberaia.
