Sling Lake
Due to its particularly clean waters, Lake Bilancino is rich in numerous fish species such as carp, crucian carp, chub, black bass, pike; There is also the presence of barbels, trout and vairons, all coming from the many streams that feed the basin, as well as eels, tenches, catfish and king perch. For fishing in the lake it is sufficient to have a fishing license and of an identification document.
There are many fishing techniques practiced: bottom trout fishing is used above all for carp, “English” and “roubaisienne” to undermine chubs; also valid are the Bolognese reeds or the fixed ones of varying length, including the short ones for bleaks; spinning is widely used due to the presence of predators such as black bass and pike while “fly fishing” is used in the stretches where the various tributaries enter. Fishing is allowed with the use of the belly boat (floating donut) and from rowing boats or boats equipped with an electric motor.
